Tai chi (taiji) and qigong are nearly the same practice. Tai Chi is a seriers of consecutive movements, typically coordinated with breath and mindful posture. Qigong can be practiced standing, sitting, or lying down. Qigong is also series of movements coordinated by breath, which means your breath actually guides the motion of your body. By doing this, you enter what is known as a ‘qi state’. Qi state is a calm, relaxed state of being. It is a feeling of being connected to everything yet without anxiety. Wonderful, delicious, uplifting state of mind with a relaxed body.  Yummy!
